#ClapForOurCarers - 2020

With all our events postponed or cancelled during the COVID-19 outbreak the Illuminate Sound and Lighting have been supporting the carers and key workers by lighting up their houses every 1st and 3rd Thursday or the month. We want to wish everyone well during this difficult time.

Birthday Party Extravaganza! - February 2020

From the initial site visit the Illuminate Sound and Lighting team were excited to work on this event. Our brief was simple - create a club setting for an unforgettable birthday party celebration! We hope you agree from the photos that we were successful.

We temporarily installed two T-Bar lighting stands with 2 moving heads and LED bar on each whilst also installing a strobe in front of the DJ which created a great light show within the venue. The team also installed a full PA system to keep the friends and family of the host dancing all night long. 

Overall, a really exciting event with some great feedback.

ELECTRIK- July 2019

The Illuminate Sound and Lighting team delivered a spectacular show for the Year 7 end of year disco at John Port Spencer Academy in July 2019. We worked closely with the in house technician to plan both the lighting and sound install for the disco. It was a long day and the team worked tirelessly from 9am until doors to turn the school assembly hall into a club setting. The team were really happy with the result and worked tirelessly with the school and grounds staff to ensure that the get out was as quick as possible to allow everyone to get home on time.

William Shrewsbury Summer Gala - June 2019

Over the last few years we have been developing a great relationship with The Association of Friends of William Shrewsbury (AFWS). The academic year sees the Illuminate team delivering all the schools, school discos whilst also delivering full outdoor PA for the annual Summer Gala. Mickleover Player Awards Night - February 2019

The Illuminate Sound and Lighting team enjoy working on corporate events and this is no exception. We installed a full disco setup to so that everyone could have a boogie after the awards were over. Working with local organisations whether it be schools, businesses or amateur dramatics groups is something we proud ourselves on and look forward to continuing.

21st Birthday Party - December 2018

Delivering nights to remember is very important to the team and this event was no exception. We installed full PA and lighting setup to turn a local scout hut into a club for the evening. The Illuminate team enjoy working with clients to ensure we can bring their ideas to life and this event was no exception!

18th Birthday Party - May 2018

We worked hard with the venue to ensure we could make use of the in house stage extension for this event and safely use smoke and haze to create atmosphere. Another brilliant 18th birthday party celebration delivered by the Illuminate team.

18th Birthday Party - December 2018

Turning a Scout Hut into a club for the evening with no rigging points available is a difficult task but using staging and truss towers the Illuminate team was able to create a visual that the client loved!

John Port Spencer Academy - 2017/18 Hire

We have been developing a great working relationship with John Port Spencer Academy over the years and over the course of 2017-18 they hired in LED lighting for the whole school production of Fiddler On The Roof and various cabarets and concerts held throughout the year.
